January Event Reminder:
Since we had our December assembly in Brandon then our scheduled January 2010 Assembly will have to be at Mary Help of Christians on second Saturday which will be Janaury 9 at 2:30 PM. The Sto Nino novena will start Friday, Jan 8 in the evening right after the assembly. The CFC night for the novena is scheduled on Jan 14, Thursday, which includes the Mass. Sis Joy will coordinate the assignment of food for that day, together with Sis Alice and Sis Dulcie.
Please advise all our members of these important dates. - Bro Art

Be Not Afraid, Father God is in Control

When we are afraid, and so many things bother us, and when anxiety prevails in
our spirit, then we already lose our battle before we even begin to fight. We would have
been overcome by our own self-defeat before the fight ensues. When our heart and mind
is not at peace, our spirit shrinks in the shadow of our own fear beyond what our total
being could even fathom.
When we are afraid that the world around us is in misery and suffering, that war
and terror is relentless, when the economy is bleak, when our own personal life is
affected directly by all these, then we realize that things are out of our control. Yet we
know deep within that we cannot passively just wait and see. We go seek relief, we pray
and we search for answers and solutions.
When we are afraid, we have no peace or strength. When we are afraid we lose
